Check out anything you may have missed on our show featuring NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE where we…
“Talk about the food, the fun, the flavor. Every town or city has a story to tell, and we get to tell that story!”
Nashville, Tennessee, Athens of the South, Music City USA… Whatever you want to call it, it’s the place where dreams come true! Your dream may include becoming a star on center stage at the Grand Ole Opry, or perhaps just seeing a star. There’s musical talent and legend at every corner.
With dreams on the brain, Eric asked us… “What was a dream you had when you were young?”
Wally always wanted to be a writer. He read all the time, in fact, would sneak different genres of books to read in church. Throughout his life words have been what moves him the most. Listening to other writers talk about their craft motivates him to write his own stories. More specific, Wally wanted to write screenplays. Eric mentioned to him that this dream is not of the past, but something still worth pursuing. I can say with confidence that everyone that knows Wally would agree with Eric.
There are few dreams that stood out to me when Eric asked this question. The first dream I remembered was the fact that I always wanted to be a wife and a mother. To my everlasting gratitude, I have attained this dream. The other one is a wish that was never in the cards for me. To sing, even win, American Idol was that dream. Why I say this is a ridiculous thought is the fact that I can’t even sing. :/ Hey, I can still practice and sing in church choir right?!
Ever since Eric could play, he dreamed of becoming a professional basketball player. First year he played for his school he was 5’10” so that meant he was the center. Well the years followed with him still at 5’10” leading to play as the forward to guard to point guard to bench to fan. His love for the game never died though. There is something still inside Eric hoping that someone will call and have him play in the NBA. He may be approaching 50, but he’s got quite the free throw shot!
