Browning Gunsmith - Fine Art
Jonathan Browning was trained as a blacksmith at the age of nineteen. In 1842, he and his wife moved to Nauvoo. In 1843, he purchased a home and added space to set up a gun and blacksmith shop. The Browning name has become synonymous with fine guns. Jonathan invented one of the first repeating rifles, and his descendants made gunsmithing a family tradition.
