The sea has always been a powerful, relentless and breathtaking image, and is the ideal characteristics for the United States Navy. Established on October 13, 1775 the U.S. Navy has protected this country’s ideals and others by living honorably, acting courageously, and committing faithfully. These core values inspire the U.S. Navy to never back down in battle, whether they are on the water or soaring through the air. We salute the U.S. Navy in always pressing forward like the unyielding sea.
