As the capitol of Maryland, Annapolis is rich with history. At one point it was the nation's capitol and was were George Washington signed his commission to be commander-in-chief of the Continental Army. Annapolis is home to the historic State House, United States Naval Academy, and St. John's College. Dowdle's depiction of this colonial city includes all of the landmark buildings, monuments, people and ships that one would expect to see if going back in time.

This is our second Dowdle puzzle. They are challenging to do but lots of fun. Our problem with this puzzle was the depth or thickness of the pieces. They are very thin and we had the hardest time keeping them together as we got more and more done.I guess the best way to describe is that they did not snap together. Anyway, we like this folk art puzzle style so I’m sure we will try more.

Beautiful puzzle. I love visiting Annapolis and this puzzle takes me there without making the long trip. So many things I recognize in this puzzle and love seeing USNA in the background. I bought this puzzle as a gift for my USNA Class of 2014 graduate for a Christmas present. I know he will love it . . . . maybe not right now but someday he will be really glad to have it.
Pieces were well cut and print was very clear.
