Noah's Ark - 1000 Piece

Love the Dowdle puzzles for their art but this puzzle failed in the manufacture of the pieces. There were eight small oval (half the size of a pencil eraser) pieces in the box which were impossible to place in the puzzle, leaving gaps. There were also two puzzle pieces missing… a first for us as we have a 4 drawer jigsaw puzzle board to sort and store pieces in, hardware floors and just us in the house. Loved the image and clever, humorous pop culture references but an unfinished puzzle is simply a dud. First Dowdle to disappoint and a sad waste of hours and money. 😞

I really enjoyed this puzzle. What I liked most about it was that all of the pieces were standard puzzle piece shapes and all about the same size.

I was so disappointed with the lack of really bright colours in the Noah’s Ark puzzle! I had bought and completed the same puzzle over a year ago, and it was soooo bright, colourful, which gave me joy and enthusiasm to finish it. I cannot even get myself beyond the border of this new one as it seems so dark and dull in comparison. I’m not even excited to do it😉 which is not like me! I have a number of these lovely puzzles which are more colourful! Dowdle, please do NOT start to make your beautiful puzzles dark but keep them BRIGHT AND COLOURFUL!! This is the only reason I gave a 3 star.

We had a blast putting this 1000 piece puzzle together. It is boxed great and comes with an enlarged picture for closer examination (good for old people like us)
Contains funny little play on words and animals. A must have.

Size was perfect! I enjoy puzzles but not looking for a second career. Subject was fun & pieces were distinctive.
